The development of the PicTok app began with a vague idea but evolved into a clear concept: a photo-sharing app for blind users using image recognition, sound cues, and text-to-speech. The team conducted research, spoke with visually impaired individuals, and worked on design and accessibility aspects. They recently decided on a re-design, including a new name, Pic-o-Pal, and are eager to make a meaningful impact in the lives of visually impaired users.
